Last night, I hosted some friends over for dinner. I was gifted a waffle maker for Christmas, so I was excited to use it. It seemed clear that the best direction would be to make a charcuterie board! I am obsessed with the trendy snack boards, so customizing it seemed fun.
I am going to walk you through how I set it up, step by step.

First, I added mini bowls for dips and small foods.

Next, I added the waffles. I used a pizza knife to cut them in fours. I also added cool whip, chocolate chips, and ketchup for the Southern potatoes.

I added some fruits to the board: strawberries, blueberries, and bananas.

Finally, I added sausage links and bacon. I ended up moving the ketchup to the side of the board to make room for the meat.

Here is the final look! I had scrambled eggs, Southern, cheesy potatoes, ketchup, butter, and orange juice on the sides.

I had plenty of fruit leftover, so I added it to a board on the dining table, so guests could continue snacking on it throughout dinner.

It took me a lot longer than I anticipated to prepare dinner. Luckily, Carlee showed up early and stepped in and started cooking!

Overall, the breakfast charcuterie was a hit and it was a super simple and cute way to serve the food!
